Indian Railways Retrofitted the Coach of Passenger Train with Flexible Solar PV Panels on its Roof

Shri Ravindra Gupta, Member Rolling Stock, Railway Board inaugurated 1st non Air-Conditioned (NAC) coaches of passenger train retro-fitted with Flexible Solar P.V Panels on it to operate the fans, light and mobile charging arrangement at Saf-darjung Railway Station, New Delhi on 24 July, 2018. On this occasion, the Senior Officers of Railway Board, Indian Railways Organization for Alternate Fuels (IROAF), Northern Railway & M/s CEL were also present.
