Indian Railways' Sportspersons Shine in 18th Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta

Continuing with its rich 'Sports history, Railway Sports Promotion Board successfully fielded a contingent consisting of 88 members including 73 athletes and 12 coaches/ physio/officials who represented India in Asian Games 2018, which was one of the largest contingents amongst Sports organizations/ State Units from India in 18th Asian Games 2019 from 18 August to 2 September, 2018 held at Jakarta, Palembang in Indonesia. During the Asian Games, Indian Railways athletes won 10 medals including 2 Gold medals. Its 26 athletes contributed the medals for India.
