IIT Bombay lifetime achievement awards 2012

From academic breakthroughs to technological advancements to scientific discoveries, works of a few individuals can have a profound impact on society. The IIT Bombay Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes outstanding individuals whose pioneering spirit and demonstrated inventiveness throughout their careers has improved our society and inspired others. From this year on the institute will be presenting these awards in a separate ceremony celebrating these individuals.
