摘要

This paper presents an analytical model to predict the torsional response of concrete members using linear softening curve for Mode-Ⅱ fracture. The curve was obtained by conducting experiments on double-edge notched specimen. Investigations were also carried out to study the torsional response of normal strength and high strength concrete members to compare and validate the model. The results reveal that the analytical model satisfactorily estimates the torsional response of normal strength and high strength concrete members.
