Pelco launched its line of Copper Safe~® products in 2012 and has successfully demonstrated this product's ability to keep copper cable safe in the light poles where it's installed. "Pelco fabricates several products in a range of sizes and applications to help keep copper from being stolen by copper thieves. The Fort Worth Department of Transportation in Texas has recently purchased over 200 Copper Safe units to be installed in identified areas of high copper theft. We're very excited to share in this opportunity to help protect these poles from vandals and also keep the streets safe for the residents of Fort Worth and surrounding cities within the DOT district," said Luis Lopez, Regional Sales Manager for Pelco Products, Inc.
