THE SMART CITY/ IOT UPDATE FOR THE ANSI/IES ROADWAY LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM STANDARD

The goal of this article is to inform the IMSA community of the ANSI/IES Roadway Lighting Control System Standard developed by the Illuminating Engineering Society's technical standards Roadway Lighting Committee. Furthermore these goals include (1) informing the stakeholder communities of this new Smart City/IoT update for the ANSI/IES DG-28 Guide for Selection, Installation, Operations and Maintenance of Roadway Lighting Control Systems and (2) to issue a call to action for stakeholders - to offer content, editing services, images or simply to audit the process.
