UAE signs IMO anti-piracy Code

The Djibouti Code of Conduct was signed on 18 April 2011 in Dubai by HE Dr. Saeed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister for International Organisations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Foreign Affairs. UAE became the 18th signatory to sign the Code of Conduct, set up by IMO to develop regional capacity to counter piracy in the Gulf of Aden and Western Indian Ocean.
