The last of these missives ended with what turned out to be the fairly prophetic remarks that 'Nothing stands still these days, and we can expect further changes to Image Technology and its Cinema Technology supplement over the coming months.' As managing Editor of both BKSTS journals, I confess to being surprised at just how quickly things did move! Long-standing readers will know that Cinema Technology has for a long time been a quarterly supplement to Image Technology, and has at different times taken the form of a separate section of the main journal and a pull-out supplement, before becoming the separately produced and printed supplement of recent years.
