It has been a very busy time since the last issue of the Journal. September saw a very full calendar of events for the Society including an extremely enjoyable and sunny Annual BBQ at Pinewood Studios - the hard-fought final of the Michael Samuelson Softball Challenge between Deluxe and Technicolor saw Deluxe emerge victorious. IBC in Amsterdam was, as usual, a very successful exhibition for the Society - hard work but very rewarding to meet so many international members who visited us on our stand. This must be the best international broadcast equipment show accompanied by excellent workshops and seminars which all attracts a truly global audience.
