After the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, some experts speculated that traditional trade association conferences might be a thing of the past, and that online programs would replace onsite meetings. And like most associations, AAMI's Annual Conference did suffer a decline in attendance for a couple of years after the attacks. But nearly six years after 9/11, AAMI's 2007 Conference & Expo will open its doors on June 16 in Boston with strong attendance and a sold-out expo.
