This issue contains two articles; the DiplETE June 2004 Question paper and its solution for the subject D04: Engineering Materials; some student related information; addresses of IETE Students' Forums in Colleges; and guidelines for potential authors of IETE Journals. The first article, by S M Deshmukh, V U Kale and M S Ali of the Prof Ram Megha Institute of Technology and Research at Badnera deals with a novel method for constructing Bode plots of linear continuous time control systems. The method is claimed to be simple and efficient.
