Space-time trellis coding systems employing orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technique over frequency-selective channels is considered, where fading gains vary within a frame interval. The channel time-evolution of each sub-carrier is modeled by an autoregres-sive process, while the receiver utilizing a recursive technique combining Kalman filtering with per-survivor processing is studied.
