Special Section on Nonlinear Theory and its Applications

摘要

Since the 1st Internationa] Symposium on Nonlinear Theory and its Applications (NOLTA) in 1990, the importance and scope of nonlinear theory and its applications have continuously grown, in particular, in the recent complex-network era. NOLTA symposium is now widely recognized as the most prestigious international conference where many leading scientists and engineers assemble. NOLTA2008 was held at Budapest, Hungary, Sept. 7-10, 2008. About 200 excellent papers of various research fields submitted from over 20 countries were presented in the symposium.
