Special Section on Information Theory and Its Applications

摘要

The special section on Information Theory and Its Applications is devoted to new theoretical developments and techniques in information theory and its applications. The growing interest in this area is illustrated by the submission of 45 papers and 10 letters for this special section.rnAlmost half of the submitted papers this year were extended versions of the papers originally presented at two related conferences. One is the 31st Symposium on Information Theory and Its Applications (SITA2008) which was held at Kinugawa, Tochigi, from October 7 to 10, 2008.
