摘要

The congestion of the network can be effectively mitigated by appropriately applying dynamic price scheme. In this paper, we investigate the performance of such dynamic pricing scheme. The objective of the scheme is to optimize the utilities for the service provider and users when controlling the congestion. It takes into account the network condition, the user's willingness-to-pay, and the server behaviour and also provides a framework for achieving a wide range of fairness objectives. In the scheme, the negotiation between the network server and users leads to a balanced network. The behaviour of the server and users in the network are analyzed under the theoretical view of a cooperative game. The optimum parameters for the scheme are also demonstrated in the simulation result.
