Optical Design for the Dome-A 5m Terahertz Telescope

摘要

This paper presents a candidate optical design of the antenna system and QOS for the Dome-A 5 meter terahertz telescope. Geometrical optics and Gaussian optics simulation results show that the design satisfies the requirement for 5'x5' telescope FOV, and at the same time provides quasioptical interfaces to detectors of three different channels. The design is compact and mechanically robust. Parallelized physical optics simulation is currently undertaken to further validate the performance of the QOS design.
