統計データ処理実習を促進するための会話プログラムの試作

摘要

In this paper, the authors discuss the design and implementation of a chatterbot program that supports students' exercise of statistical data analysis. Generally in the ordinary learning processes of statistics, at first a student takes a lecture in statistical science, and successively has exercise of statistical data analyses. Unfortunately at the step of exercise, some students cannot think actively about methods of data analyses without assistance or advice. In order to train such a passive student to think actively the problem, the authors are developing a chatterbot program to encourage the passive students in active challenge for statistical data analyses. The chatterbot program encourages the student to think actively how student's problem should be solved in statistical data analyses. In the conference, the authors report the basic idea and implementation method of the chatterbot program.%本稿では、統計データ処理の実習を支援する会話プログラムの設計とその実装手法を議論する。一般に統計学の授業では、学生たちは最初に統計学の講義を受け、それに続いて統計データ解析の演習授業を受ける。残念なことに、統計データ処理演習の段階になると、学生たちの中には支援や助言なしには積極的にデータ解析について考えられない者がいる。そうした消極的な学生に積極的に問題を考える訓練をするための"会話プログラム"を開発している。この会話プログラムは、そうした学生に、学生の持っている問題を統計データ解析でどのように解決するかを積極的に考える訓練をする。研究会では、会話プログラムの基本構想とその実現に向けたコンピュータ実装手法を報告する。
