This paper presents a 60-GHz direct-conversion transceiver in 65nm CMOS technology. The transmitter consists of a 4-stage PA, differential preamplifiers, I/Q double-balanced Gilbert mixers and a quadrature injection-locked oscillator(QILO). The receiver consists of a 4-stage LNA, differential amplifiers, I/Q passive mixers, a QILO and a baseband LNA. The beseband LNA employs gain peaking technique to improve gain flatness and realize good EVM. The transceiver can communicate 16QAM in every channel of IEEE 802.1 lad standard with EVM of around -23 dB and power consumptions are 319mW in Tx and 223 mW in Rx.
