Optimum buck converter with a single switch

摘要

A new DC-DC power converter with only one active switch operatingnat a constant switching frequency and with low-current and voltagenstress is proposed. The conduction losses are minimized because of thenability to use a minimum number of elements in the path of direct energyntransfer from the input to the load. Furthermore, because only onenswitch is used, the design of the control circuit is greatly simplified.nThe new power converter achieves soft switching for the diodes andnzero-current switching (ZCS) at turn on for the active switch
