摘要

This paper discusses automatic gain adjustment in anfully-digital-controlled shunt active filter. This is the first step inncooperative control of the multiple active filters based on voltagendetection for harmonic damping throughout power distribution systems. Inngeneral, the active filter should be equipped with an optimal controlngain corresponding to the characteristic impedance of a distributionnline. However, it is difficult to know circuit parameters of a realndistribution line having various shunt capacitors and loads. Therefore,na main purpose of the gain adjustment is to make the active filter dampnout harmonic propagation without considering the circuit parameters. Innaddition, the gain adjustment can reduce the compensating currents andnlosses in the active filter, and moreover it can avoid over-dampingnperformance. Experiment results obtained from a 200-V, 20-kW laboratorynsystem verify the effectiveness of the active filter equipped withnautomatic gain adjustment
