摘要

A software package based on the finite-element technique has been developed to compute two-dimensional magnetic field and loss distribution in transformer cores with the aid of a 386-microprocessor-based personal computer. The finite-element method (FEM) offers a stable numerical solution with a high degree of precision, and the software package takes into account both the nonlinear B-H characteristics and the anisotropy of the core material. Optimum design of transformer cores is reasonably fast and cheap with this software in comparison with FEM packages run on minicomputers or mainframe computers. The authors describe several important features in developing the software package and show some computed results for various three-phase three-limb transformer cores.
