A status report on electromagnetic field computation

摘要

Some recent advances in computer modelling are discussed, including automatic mesh generation and adaptive solution procedures, the new range of optimisation tools that allow designs to be created satisfying user defined rules, hysteresis effects, and coupled analyses (electromagnetic, thermal and structural). Some mention is also be made to high frequency solutions, including eigenvalue analyses of cavities.
