摘要

The mechanical design of the back-plate component of a Tokamak type fusion machine is strongly influenced by the magnitude of the electromagnetic forces induced by plasma disruption events. The purpose of this paper is to give a methodology of interfacing two distinct codes: an electromagnetic one (CARIDDI) and a mechanical one (ABAQUS) for the solution of problems concerning back-plate modelling during plasma disruptions. Finally, the results of the transient magnetomechanical computer simulations are described.
