AS I PREPARE TO WRITE THIS column, I find myself struggling to come up with timely and relevant topics. So much has been happening lately, but given the three-month lead time that all contributors to IEEE Power and Energy Magazine must work with, it''s sometimes difficult to provide communications that are not “old news” by the time you read them. Hopefully my messages below will contain some timely information for most of you.
