摘要

Enhanced performance of a distributed temperature sensor based on spatially resolving the temperature-dependent intensity of the spontaneous Brillouin scattered signal was accomplished by combining distributed Raman amplification and a remotely pumped erbium-doped fiber amplifier. A temperature resolution of 5.7 deg C combined with a spatial resolution of 20 m was achieved at a range of 88 km.
