摘要

The realization of an all-solid photonic bandgap optical fiber (PBGF) based on silicate glasses in spectral wavelength band nm is achieved. The structure parameters and bandgap of the fiber are both demonstrated theoretically by plane-wave expansion method calculations and experimentally by near-field measurements. The all-solid silicate glass PBGF has one bandgap and has a core transmission band of 853–980 nm, which is important for laser generation at nm in Nd-doped silicate glass fiber.
