A technique for spatially resolved chromatic dispersionnmeasurement of installed optical fiber links is presented. The method isnbased on the analysis of bidirectional optical time-divisionnreflectometer (OTDR) traces at different wavelengths obtained by anspecifically designed tunable external source. Measurement accuracy isnimproved through a particular algorithm that corrects the OTDRnnonlinearity error.
