摘要

We proposed and demonstrated a novel hybrid chaotic system usingninjection locking in coupled laser diodes. This system consists ofndouble laser diodes, a Fabry-Perot etalon, and an electronic delaynfeedback. The bifurcation diagram route to chaos and variation of thentemporal waveform of the output light intensity were observed relativento the feedback gain. Some peculiar bifurcation properties, which werencaused by a strong nonlinear effect due to injection locking, werenobserved. We also analyzed the experimental results using Van der Polenequations coupled with rate equations. The results of theoreticalnanalysis showed good agreement with the experimental results
