Radiation of a vertical electric dipole over a resistive sheet

摘要

The radiation of a vertical electric dipole over a thin dielectric slab is analysed. The problem can be decomposed into two simpler ones involving the radiation of the same dipole, first over a perfectly conducting plane, which has a trivial solution, and then over an impedance plane, for which the Green's function can be directly obtained from the corresponding scalar problem.
