Cladocera of Genus Diaphanosoma (Crustacea: Cladocera) of the Water Bodies and Water Courses of Ukraine

Paper deals with data on distribution and new findings of several species of cladocerans of gen. i Diaphanosoma Fischer, 1850 (Crustacea: Cladocera) in the water bodies and water courses of Ukraine. Issues of their habitat sites in Ukraine regarding their main areals are discussed. Beside widely distributed i Diaphanosoma brachyurum (Lievin, 1848) in Ukraine occur three more species: i D. dubium Manuilova, 1964, i D. orghidani Negrea, 1982 and i D. mongolianum Ueno, 1938. The latter of them was found for the first time in the waters of Ukraine. Finding of i D. dubium in Ukraine indicates expansion of its areal westward.
