The Alberta Ministry of Environment and Parks said Sept. 14 that a firm target of 30% of the province's electricity will come from wind, hydro and solar by 2030. To help achieve this 30 by '30, the government of Alberta will support 5,000 MW of additional renewable energy capacity for Albertans, the province said in a news release.
