According to AVL Powertrain Engineering President Ray Corbin, the company has named Glenn Nixon as Director of Advanced Simulation Technologies. Nixon will be responsible for sales,sup-port and marketing of all AST products for North America. Nixon adds to AVL more than 19 years of experience selling technical solutions to the industrial market. His background includes sales of test and measurement systems for durability and sound and vibration evaluation, as well as simulation and modeling software for structural,acoustics,vibration and fluid dynamics applications across a wide range of industries. AVL is the world's largest privately owned and independent company for the development of gasoline, diesel and alternative fuel powertrain systems, as well as fuel cell and hybrid technologies.
