According to ITM Power pic CEO Graham Cooley, the company's HFuel transportable hydrogen refueling prod uct has satisfied the requirements of the UK's Department for Trans port for road use. "In preparation for the HOST (Hydrogen On Site Trials) launch, ITM Power has undertaken a thorough assessment of system safety and required approvals. This has gen erated a suite of documentation to evi dence the legal transportation of HFuel on UK public roads with a full inven tory of hydrogen and to satisfy local fire and Health & Safety authorities. This has been a significant undertaking and achievement, which demonstrates ITM Power's thorough understanding of the relevant legislative framework and approval requirements. As part of the assessment, the Company has cre ated a documentary resource covering the elements required by the Danger ous Goods Division of the Department for Transport.
