The DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and the EEOC both face challenges in overseeingcompliance by employers and federal contractors with applicable federal equal employment opportunityrequirements, the GAO concluded in written testimony before the House Education and Labor Subcommittee onCivil Rights and Human Services.The testimony provided an update on prior GAO recommendations to a subcommittee hearing on September 19,"Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Officeof Federal Contract Programs (OFCCP)."
