A review of our three-year editorial experience: 2019-2021

My three-year term as the Editor-in-Chief of Human Resource Development International is coming to an end. Since the last issue of this year is an anticipated special issue, this is my last editorial as the Editor-in-Chief (EIC). I will use this opportunity to conclude my term by saying goodbye, expressing thanks, offering a not-so-objective summary of the last three years of the journal, and welcoming the new editorial team. Succeeding the initial support and hard work of Jelena Pokimica in the first quarter of my tenure as EIC, Debbie Hrubec has served as my Managing Editor; supporting me over the remaining three years. Recently earning her doctorate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I have invited Debbie to write this editorial with me as the journal moves now to Drexel University under the leadership of the incoming Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Rajashi Ghosh and Managing Editor, Ague Manongsong.
