Celebrating the beginning of the next 20 years

As the incoming Editor-in-Chief of Human Resource Development International (HRDI), I was taken by the same feelings I had when I joined the editorial team as an associate editor for the perspective section over six years ago, excited yet humbled. As the Editor-in-Chief, I was given the privilege to shape the scholarly discussions of HRDI by publishing five issues per year for the next three years. It is an enormous responsibility because of the influence that HRDI has on both scholars and practitioners across the globe. I am humbled by the privilege and responsibility. Fortunately, I have the support of a wonderful editorial team, editorial board, board of directors, reviewers, authors, readers, the journal team at Taylor & Francis, the members of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD), and the members of the University Forum for Human Resource Development. It is the commitment, contribution, and support from every one of you that has sustained the continuous growth of the HRDI and attributed to every success of the journal. Thus, please accept my sincere appreciation on behalf of the new editorial team for your continuous support, contribution, and involvement.
