The effect of factors of a hermetic chamber with a modified atmosphere on the hemostasis system was studied in order to evaluate and to compare different diving breathing gases. The parameters characterizing procoagulant, anticoagulant, and fibrinolytic components of hemostasis were determined by clotting, chromogenic, and immunological methods. The test exposure did not significantly affect activity and the regulatory potential of hemostasis. However, nitrogen-oxygen and argon-oxygen hypoxic diving gases exerted different effects on hemostasis, which were especially distinct in the recovery period.
