摘要

In recent years, many conservation organizations have been forced to operate with declining resources—having to do more with less. Working under worsening resource constraints, an increasing amount of attention has been devoted to the topic of management capacity: identifying those factors that contribute to the ability of organizations to respond to conservation needs. A variety of such factors has been identified ranging from tangible resources (e.g., funding, staff, and information) to characteristics of social networks (e.g., relationships, communication, and shared goals).
