Kampen-based Shipyard Peters B.V. recently handed over their yard number 443. This ship is designed for navigation in coastal waters and sea/river trading and, as a consequence, has a shallow draught in loaded condition. Special attention has been given to the flexibility of operation and ease of maintenance of both structure and engine room. The single-screw vessel features one continuous hatch coaming and one box-shaped hold which can be separated into two parts by means of an adjustable and divisible grain bulkhead.
