摘要

Health care workers are priced out of affordable homeownership in the majority of metropolitan areas across the country, according to a new study of more than 200 metropolitan areas and 60 occupations from the Center for Housing Policy, an affiliate of the National Housing Conference. The Center's annual "Paycheck-to-Paycheck" study found that nursing aides and home health aides were priced out of affordable homeownership in all 202 metro areas studied. In addition, licensed practical nurses would not qualify to purchase the median-priced home in 187 areas; registered nurses, in 115 areas; and physical therapists, in 104 areas.
