The Massachusetts Appeals Court upheld the Boston Housing Authority's (BHA) eviction of a tenant whose resident son was arrested for possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute. Crump, No. 07-P-825, 2009 WL 3064714 (Mass.App.Ct), September 28, 2009)rnThe BHA terminated the tenancy of Lisa Crump for violating the provision of her lease that prohibits drug-related criminal activity on or off BHA property.rnWhile conducting a drug campaign in Crump's housing development, police officers found cocaine, heroin, and marijuana in Crump's apartment and arrested Crump, her son, and several of the son's friends who were present during the search.
