The Treasury Department has announced an additional $133 million in grants to state housing credit agencies in exchange for a portion of their low-income housing tax credit allocations, as authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).rnTreasury is providing $72 million to the Iowa Finance Authority, $4 million to the Maine State Housing Authority, $10 million to the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, $36 million to the Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation, and $11 million to the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.
