The Affordable Housing Investors Council (AHIC) recommends that housing credit investors conduct a thorough review of the financial condition of the guarahtor(s) of a LIHTC investment as early as possible to ensure that the guarantee structure of the transaction is appropriate. AHIC has released guidelines for conducting a guarantor analysis.
