CDFI Fund Opens Competition for 2010 New Markets Tax Credit Funds

The Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund has opened the competition for the 2010 round of the New Markets tax credit (NMTC) program,rnsubject to continuing authorization of the program by Congress.rnA notice of allocation availability (NOAA) for $5 billion in investment authority was published in the April 8 Federal Register, and applications are due June 2. Applicants that aren't yet certified as community development entities (CDEs) must submit an application for certification by April 23.
