HUD Won't Flag Projects with Inspection Scores of 31 to 59

HUD will no longer flag multifamily projects which receive physical inspection scores of 31 to 59, concluding that the current policy is hampering housing activity.rnUnder the revised protocol outlined in Notice H 2010-04, issued January 22 for immediate effect, hubs and program centers will continue to place a flag in the Active Partners Performance System (APPS) when a project scores 30 or below on an inspection.rnHUD instituted the requirement to place a flag in the APPS when a property receives an inspection score below 60 in order to alert its staff of the potential risk when a participant in that project applies to do new business with the department.
