RHS Seeking Proposals for One-Note Section 538 Demonstration Program; Farm Labor Housing Funds Available

The Rural Housing Service (RHS) is soliciting proposals for a fiscal 2010 Section 538 guaranteed multifamilyrnloan demonstration program that will provide a single loan note for construction and permanent financing.rnA program notice was published in the May 10 Federal Register, and about $10 million in program loan authority will be allocated for the demonstration.rnTo be eligible for the demonstration, a lender must have submitted a loan guarantee application in response to funding notices published on January 21, 2009, June 26, 2009, or February 26, 2010. Applications must have received a guarantee obligation between October 1, 2009, and December 17, 2010.
