San Bernardino Uses NSP Funds To Buy Two Multifamily Properties

The Housing Authority of San Bernardino County, Calif., (HASBC) made a substantial addition to its non-HUD affordable housing inventory with the purchase of two foreclosed multifamily projects in Barstow with 300 rental units. HASBC's nonprofit affiliate used first-round neighborhood stabilization program (NSP1) grant funds from the county to add to its non-HUD inventory of 1,132 units.
