HUD has announced new FHA single-family loan limits for the last three months of calendar 2011, based on the expiration on September 30 of the special limits that have been in effect since passage of the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 (ESA). HUD provided guidance on the new loan limits in Mortgagee Letter 2011-29, which was issued on August 19.
