The Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court ruled in Cranford Development Associates, LLC v. Township of Cranford, 2015 WL 10715449 (N.J. Super. Ct. App. Div. 2016), that a builder met its Mount Laurel affordable housing obligations by demonstrating, inter alia, that it attempted to engage in good faith negotiations with a township, but that the township refused to participate.
