The Justice Department on June 1, 2017, announced a settlement with the city of Jacksonville, Florida, to resolve allegations that the city violated the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act when it refused to all of the development of permanent supportive housing for individuals with disabilities in its Springfield neighborhood.
